Dr.Bantu Prasanta Kumar Patro, Chief Scientist at CSIR-NGRI in Hyderabad,received the Geoscience Award 2023 in the Geophysics/Applied Geophysics category from President Droupadi Murmu. He was recognized for his groundbreaking research in creating a three-dimensional map of the electrical properties beneath the Indian shield, providing valuable insights into subsurface geological structures and potential mineral resources.
